Chiron LMP3 to HondataHondata creating custom ECU mapping for the Honda K20A9 January, 2006 -- The Chiron LMP3 with Honda K20A powerplant is in Torrance, California. Using the vast experience and technical expertise of Hondata, the Honda K20A engine will be programmed for maximum performance, with engine longevity expected to be in excess of two years of racing usage. We will publish the dyno results when we have them. According to Dave Jansen, "The expertise of Hondata will greatly enhance not only the engine performance on the track, Hondata will include no lift shift capabilities.
